Some tips to Maintain your swimming pool well

To assure your swimming pool work better and can be with longer lifespan ,it is essential to take some regularly maintenance on the swimming pool.

Firstly ,the water quality monitoring and adjustment.

It’s better to check water quality daily or every other day.

The ideal range for the pH value is: 7.2-7.6. Because too high a pH can cause scaling; too low a pH can corrode equipment.

For the Residual Chlorine,keep 1-3 ppm to ensure disinfection effectiveness.

Total Alkalinity: 80-120 ppm, to stabilize pH.

Note: Different chemicals should be added separately, with an interval of several hours, to avoid mixing.

Secondly ,the cleaning of the swimming pool and swimming pool equipment.

1, Clean the skimmer ,pool bottom and pool wall . 2, Clean the swimming pool pipeline . 3, Clean the swimming pool filter,such as sand filter . 4, Clean the Salt chlorine machine and etc disinfection machines.

Thirdly,check the swimming pool equipment regularly.

Take a good checking on the water pump,swimming pool filter.For the sand filter ,need to check the quartz sand layer.And check the filter element/ filter bag for the integrated swimming pool filter.For water heater and swimming pool heat pumps, regular descaling and connection checks are required.Finally,do not forget check for problems such as cracks in the pool or loose tiles.

Fourthly,Some seasonal maintenance also need to be pay attention.

Such as at summer ,Chlorine is consumed rapidly at high temperatures, necessitating increased testing frequency.Then the algaecide can be added for prevent the algae.

While for the winter ,The risk of equipment and pipelines freezing has become the primary threat.Wrap all exposed parts of outdoor water pipes, valves, pumps, and filters with insulating material.In case of extremely cold weather or if you plan to leave home for a short period, consider draining the water from pumps, filters, and heaters (following the manufacturer's instructions) or refilling them with antifreeze.Perform a one-time bottom vacuuming and pool wall scrubbing when water is at 15 ℃ in winter.

But If you stop using the pool during the winter.Keep the water level drop slightly below the inlet after cleaning.Drain water from pipes and equipment, or use antifreeze (as per instructions) for freezing prevention.Then use a sturdy swimming cover to prevent debris from entering.
